Welcome to the official Plumbers and Pipefitters Local #648 website. The purpose of this site is to keep our members informed and involved in their union, to educate the public, and to keep consumers aware of our committed involvement in the plumbing and pipefitting industry.

Local #648 has grown to include over 400 members who serve the plumbing and mechanical industry in 20 counties in Eastern Idaho. Our membership offers a wide array of plumbing and mechanical skills that are valued throughout the construction industry, and work daily through the employment of our signatory contractors to provide consumers and the public with the safest, most highly trained, productive workforce in the region.

Local Union #648 of the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the plumbing and Pipefitting industry of the United States and Canada, affiliated with the AFL-CIO and building trades.

General members meetings are held on the third Monday of each month at 7:30pm in the Labor Temple at 456 N. Arthur, Pocatello, ID, 83204.

Executive Board meets prior to the members meeting at 6:45pm at the same location.
